“Smart Tutor” project admitted to the final request presentation of the PII Made in Italy within the framework of the Industry 2015 program

Within the framework of the Industry 2015 program, new Made in Italy technologies, RayTalk Industries participates to the innovative project coordinated by Meta System SpA and Octo Telematics SpA, Meta System Group companies specialized in supplying telematic systems and services for assurance and automotive market.

Together with CNR (National Research Council), University of Bologna and Polytechnic of Milan and other specialized companies, an important and advanced project for innovative research has been presented based on geographic wireless and nearness networks. The project named “Smart Tutor” aims at the realization of a device able to increase independence of movement and safety level of individuals that, because of physical or environmental conditions, have lack mobility due to physical disabilities or are in environments not familiar where it is hard to orient themselves. We can think about travelers or tourists in an unknown city and with incomprehensible indications because expressed in unknown alphabets. In these situations even a map will be not really useful.

The exact content of the project is actually covered by industrial secret at the moment, and it has been object of a public communication consultable on the web site: www.sviluppoeconomico.gov.it.

This list reports the 227 admitted requests to the presentation of the final programs beginning from a total of 429 projects that had already got through the first phase after approximately 700 presented requests.

This activity will represent the primacy of research and innovation, not only for RayTalk Industries, but for all research authorities and companies involved in this project, in addition beyond Made in Italy.
