RA-540

Dual Band Access Point, IEEE802.11a/b/g, 54/108Mbps with WDS, Router/Firewall, 4Port Switch

RayTalk RA-540 is a native Indoor Dual Band Access Point with double module which builds in a 4-ports switch and Router/Firewall functions.

The two radio modules on Chip work independently each other in accordance with the following scheme:
- Radio Module1: IEEE802.11bg with Diversity
- Radio Module2: IEEE802.11a with Diversity The two not adjustable RA-540 antennas are both Dual Band with Diversity.

The device supports a 54Mbps (802.11g) Bitrate standard up to 108Mbps in proprietary mode (depend on the client chipset: SuperMode 802.11g, Turbo Mode 802.11a only FCC).
The RA-540 power is adjustable via software up to a maximum of 20dBm.
The maximal power limits by law are 20 dBm@WiFi and must be observed considering the RF Power, the loss due to the connectors/cable and the gain of the certificated antennas.
The device supports Extended Range radio mode for incrementing of the wireless covering performance.

RayTalk RA-540 can work in 4 different ways:
1) Double Access Point: 2,4 and 5GHz Wi-Fi contemporaneous connectivity.
2) Double Access Point with WDS: 2,4 and 5GHz Wi-Fi contemporaneous connectivity + WDS
3) Internet Gateway Access Point: AP with enabled Router/Firewall 4) Internet Gateway Access Point with WDS: AP + WDS with enabled Router/Firewall.
